Private 4D scan.

 Seeing our pot of gold in 4D. 

On Saturday at 31 +2 days we had a private scan booked. We were away in London visiting family and friends. 

So we booked at the same place in London where we had Ariyah's. We had her ones around 30 weeks pregnant too. So we can see the similarities between them. 

Our friend was coming with us which was lovely because she had been there through it all. She came to hospital and saw Nico when he was born, one of the only other people to see him in person other then us. She was also at his funeral. Then was there shortly after we got home with Ariyah. It was special too as she had never been to a baby scan before. 

Ariyah was also allowed into this scan, which meant alot for her to be apart of it. Watching her seeing her sibling was very special. In the scan she kept pointing to my belly then the screen say baby, as if she was really working out that she could see the baby in my tummy. She seemed so fascinated and was so excited. It was a very special moment. 

So in the scan the staff were amazing called us dad's and he, made us feel very comfortable. We got to see our pot of gold sleeping happy away. Baby was all tucked up with their knees up, legs crossed and hands on their knees. It was very cute. Our pot of gold looked very peaceful, at one point did open their eyes a tiny bit before going back to sleep. We got some amazing photos and a whole video on dvd. They measured the baby too, which showed baby to be around 3lb 12oz at the Gestation of 31 weeks which was correct. We knew that baby is growing well, at a good weight and doing just fine. 

It was very surreal how much the baby looked like Ariyah. While yes we used the same sperm donor but me and Ben are very different. Photo below is ariyah on the left and this baby on the right.

We also had lots of fun see other people while being away in London. Ariyah got very spoilt taken to Kew gardens, out for dinner, out for breakfast. Got clothes brought for her. We got to see her family and cousins and well as old friends. We took her to the park and swimming.

However the trip ended with me in hospital and being very ill which I will do a separate post about. But bay is all well and fine which is what matter.
